i had a wonderful trip to portland, oregon to visit my bestest friends and to dive deep into the cycling culture. loved it - every minute of it! even when it sprinkled on me. you become a wimp of the wetness when you live in the southwest - but i embraced it!
a segway tour! it was so odd that we were intrigued to take the tour ourselves yet our budget did not allow us to be so dorky.
danielle and i took a road trip around the city and ended up at the alpenrose dairy farm velodrome to watch some pretty cool track racing. this is a sport i have yet to try.

Wow, Portland does look like a lot of fun! I laughed at the Segweys. Apparently they used to use these where I work (we have a very large campus) but safety nazis took them away after people started hurting themselves on them. Doh....I work with dorks.
